This scheme in Fort Lauderdale was a 6-lane highway that was narrowed down to 4 lanes allowing for the implementation of expanded sidewalks, including cycle lanes and extensive street tree planting increasing the amount of urban tree canopy and encouraging walking and cycling. It creates a place for residents and tourists alike to get out of their cars and enjoy the fantastic Florida environment.

A major portion of this project were the large public art elements and a linear park that encourages pedestrian use through the area as well as a tropical invite to the city.
We created a dynamic urban plaza which formed part of the mass transit station facility incorporating artwork and public realm areas to welcome all users.
